it's been a while

It's been a while since i posted anything here so here we go!!
The summer past by way too quickly and now September is in full bloom. The sun is shining and the waves are(have been) amazing! I haven't been in the studio as much as i'd like over August due to other work and a trip to Spain, however there was the Big summer art show over the Bank Holiday weekend!! I made some sales and scored a decent commission so i am a happy chappy.

The Treyarnon Bay YHA now has a selection of my new paintings on show. I've been selling bits there for the last year or so but thought it need a few of my new wooden wave paintings!!

Maytime

last weekend i visited the small village of Beer in East devon and caught up with an old college friend. Emma is a printmaker based in exeter, visit http://emmamolony.com/. Good work!!

The wife and i were on our way to a wedding in Farnham and used the stop over to go and see Jon at the Beer YHA. He is very enthusiastic about getting my work on the newly refurbished walls in the Hostel. There is loadsss of space to fill!!

A Welsh weekend

Last weekend i went back in time and visited the area in Cardiff that i lived 10 years ago. My memory of college is very hazy thanks to the green bottles below that we used to drink in the house below. "Cider man" the indian shopkeeper would shout to me across the street. Haha.

Wood and wave

Spring has sprung and the rabbits are out to play

Everyday i see rabbits, pheasants, cows, sheep, crows and seagulls. I also see magpies. I've heard they can bring good luck or bad luck depending on how many you see at one time. If i see one on its own i'll swear at it. The sun has been setting further out to the west recently. Now it's raining again... Must do some more painting
